My special interest in ADHD began when my daughter was diagnosed as a young adult.
I saw at firsthand how ADHD can affect many aspects of life such as self-esteem, mental health, function in education and employment, relationships and physical health.
Working as a nutritionist has given me the tools to help people learn to manage their ADHD whether they have a diagnosis or suspect ADHD.
Using a Functional Medicine model, I develop personalised action plans by taking a deep dive into the biochemical imbalances which may be at the root of symptoms. This may involve looking at gut health, nutritional status, any food intolerances, genetics, infections, toxicity, and lifestyle factors such as sleep, exercise, and stress management.
